UAE Flag Day celebrations will take place tomorrow with flags raised across the country at 11 am to express national unity.
ABU DHABI: The UAE is set to commemorate Flag Day tomorrow, Monday, with official and public events reflecting a deep sense of national unity and pride. At exactly 11 am, the UAE flag will be simultaneously raised across all ministries, government offices, and major institutions, symbolising the country’s unwavering commitment to unity and the founding values.
Flag Day is celebrated annually in the UAE and serves as a powerful reminder of the country’s unity, sovereignty, and the values passed down by the Founding Fathers. It is a moment when both Emiratis and residents come together to honour the nation and its leadership, reaffirming their shared loyalty and dedication.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has called on all citizens and institutions to raise the flag on 3rd November at 11 am. In a post on X, he wrote, “Brothers and sisters, on 3rd November we will celebrate Flag Day, an annual occasion on which we renew our pledge, reaffirm our loyalty and express our love for the UAE flag, the symbol of our sovereignty and flag of our union.”
Flag Day also serves to showcase the UAE’s values of peaceful coexistence, inclusiveness and tolerance. The occasion highlights how citizens and residents live together in harmony, strengthening the UAE’s image as a symbol of peace and unity in the region.
