Anilkumar Bolla, a 29-year-old Abu Dhabi resident, becomes the first-ever AED 100 million grand prize winner in The UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day Draw.

ABU DHABI: In a historic moment for the UAE’s gaming industry, The UAE Lottery has announced its first-ever AED 100 million grand prize winner — 29-year-old Indian national Anilkumar Bolla. The life-changing win came during the 23rd Lucky Day Draw #251018 held on October 18, 2025.

A long-time Abu Dhabi resident and loyal lottery participant, Anilkumar was relaxing at home when he received the surprise call from The UAE Lottery. “It felt surreal,” he shared. “Even now, it hasn’t sunk in.” His winning numbers were selected through a mix of Easy Pick and a special choice — the number 11, honouring his mother’s birth month.

The timing made the moment even more special, coinciding with Diwali, a festival symbolising new beginnings and prosperity. “It feels like an exceptional blessing,” said Bolla, who plans to celebrate with a supercar purchase, a luxurious hotel stay, and carefully considered investments.

The draw also awarded AED 100,000 to 10 other winners. Since inception, The UAE Lottery has distributed more than AED 147 million in winnings to over 100,000 players, establishing itself as a leading, regulated gaming platform in the region.

“This win marks a milestone not just for Anilkumar, but for The UAE Lottery as a trusted entertainment platform,” said Scott Burton, Commercial Gaming Director. The lottery is regulated by the GCGRA and operates under strict standards for fairness, security, and responsible play.

The next Lucky Day Draw is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, with millions more in potential winnings up for grabs.
