The UAE has extended condolences to Pakistan following deadly floods and a tragic rescue helicopter crash in the country’s north.


ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has expressed its deep condolences and unwavering solidarity with Pakistan after recent floods and a fatal helicopter crash during a rescue mission caused multiple casualties in the northern region.

Heavy rainfall led to widespread floods and landslides, claiming dozens of lives and inflicting significant damage to homes and infrastructure. In a separate tragedy, a rescue helicopter crash resulted in the loss of its crew members while responding to the natural disaster.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan. The UAE mourns the lives lost and has extended prayers for the swift recovery of all those injured.
