The UAE will experience light rain, cloud cover, and fluctuating temperatures through November 7 as seasonal weather shifts begin.
ABU DHABI: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast a spell of unstable weather conditions across the UAE from 3rd to 7th November, with intermittent rainfall and overcast skies expected in several regions.
According to the NCM, the country is currently experiencing a seasonal transition from autumn to winter, which is typically marked by increased cloud activity, fluctuating temperatures, and higher humidity levels during early mornings, particularly in coastal and inland areas.
Skies will range from partly cloudy to overcast, with chances of light to moderate rainfall at intervals, especially in the western and coastal areas. Winds will vary in direction—northwesterly to southeasterly—reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally gusting up to 40 km/h.
The weather is also expected to bring a slight drop in temperatures in certain areas, offering residents a cooler and more moderate climate compared to the previous weeks.
Humidity will likely increase during the early hours, contributing to the chance of fog or mist in lower-lying areas. Meanwhile, sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman are expected to remain generally calm to moderate despite the shifting winds.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest alerts from the NCM, especially when travelling or participating in outdoor activities during this period of unstable weather. Authorities continue to monitor conditions to ensure public safety and issue timely updates.
