SHARJAH: Global superstar Will Smith is set to headline the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, making his debut appearance at an international literary event. The celebrated actor, author, and creative entrepreneur will speak live on Friday, November 14, at 8:00 PM on the event’s Main Stage, offering attendees a rare opportunity to hear first-hand insights into his journey across film, music, and writing.
The 44th edition of the book fair, themed “Between You and a Book,” will feature over 2,350 publishers from 118 countries and more than 1,200 cultural activities. Smith’s appearance highlights the event’s commitment to bridging artistic disciplines and celebrating storytelling in all its forms.
Will Smith is a bestselling author, with his memoir “Will” co-written with Mark Manson offering a powerful look at his upbringing, career highs and lows, and personal growth. He also authored the children’s book “Just the Two of Us,” honouring the bond between parent and child.
From his Oscar-winning role in King Richard to chart-topping Grammy-winning music, Smith’s influence spans genres and generations.
