DUBAI: With excitement building ahead of the FIFA World Cup 26™, fans around the world have wasted no time securing their place at football’s biggest stage. Over one million FIFA World Cup 26 tickets have already been sold following the Visa Presale Draw, with enthusiastic supporters from 212 countries and territories rushing to book their seats.

Leading ticket purchases are the three host nations – the United States, Canada, and Mexico – with England, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, and France also ranking among the top ten in global demand.

“Today, we celebrate the sale of more than 1 million FIFA World Cup tickets following the Visa Presale Draw,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “It’s an incredible response and a wonderful sign that the biggest, most inclusive FIFA World Cup in history is capturing the imagination of supporters everywhere.”

The Visa Presale Draw opened in mid-September and has drawn overwhelming interest. With 28 national teams having already qualified for the 2026 tournament, anticipation is mounting for what is being billed as the largest and most accessible edition yet, featuring 104 matches across 16 cities in North America.

The next ticketing window — the Early Ticket Draw — will open on Monday, 27 October. During this phase, fans can apply for single-match tickets to all games, as well as venue- and team-specific ticket packages. Even those who were unsuccessful in the presale phase will have another opportunity to secure tickets.

Additionally, FIFA has launched an official resale platform through FIFA.com/tickets to ensure ticket legitimacy and protect fans from unauthorised resales. For residents of Mexico, a dedicated FIFA Ticket Exchange Platform is also available.

Fans can also explore single- and multi-match hospitality options at FIFA.com/hospitality, offering premium experiences along with match access.

FIFA has reiterated that FIFA World Cup 26 tickets should only be purchased through official channels to avoid counterfeit or invalid entries. More updates on ticket timelines and categories can be found on FIFA’s official website.
