RAS AL KHAIMAH: Marjan, the leading master developer in Ras Al Khaimah, has confirmed the completion of infrastructure works at its flagship mixed-use business hub, RAK Central. This milestone clears the path for anchor developers and global investors to begin activation and sub-development works, aligning with RAK Vision 2030’s ambitious target of attracting 3.5 million tourists annually by 2030.
Spanning 3.1 million sq. ft of prime land and featuring 8.37 million sq. ft of gross floor area, RAK Central is now fully equipped with vital infrastructure. The area includes operational stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and electrical networks, along with completed roadworks, cycle tracks, and extensive green landscaping. The HQ Office Complex, managed by ALEC, is slated for completion in Q1 2027.
Commenting on the progress, Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, Chief Executive Officer, Marjan, said: “With the completion of infrastructure works and onboarding of global contractors, RAK Central has progressed into a new activation phase. The involvement of leading developers reinforces our vision to create a world-class hub that brings together business, lifestyle and tourism, enhancing Ras Al Khaimah’s reputation as a compelling destination for international investors and families alike.”
RAK Central’s completion marks a significant phase in the development of a future-ready, work-live-play community. Located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street, the district offers scenic views of the Arabian Gulf and Al Hamra Golf Club, while ensuring seamless connectivity through the E-11 highway.
RAK Central will house more than 4,000 residential units, four hotels, retail spaces, and Grade A LEED Gold certified office towers with dual licensing options. The destination will offer 100% foreign ownership, low taxation and investor-friendly models, attracting international investors, corporates and residents to one of the UAE’s most dynamic addresses.
