IBPC Dubai launched its AI mission with the ‘Unlocking the Power of AI’ event, laying the foundation for its 2026 AI Conclave and championing AI-led transformation across sectors.
DUBAI: The Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC Dubai) has officially entered the AI era with its flagship session, “Unlocking the Power of AI – Redefining the Future”, hosted recently at Dubai Chambers. The event marked the start of a long-term vision to drive AI-led change in business, governance, and society, culminating in a major AI Conclave scheduled for Q1 2026.
Held under IBPC’s Technology & Telecom Committee, the session attracted industry leaders, tech experts, and global innovators to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping value chains, transparency, and digital development. The focus keyphrase IBPC Dubai AI event was central to all discussions.
“AI is both promise and peril. Our mission is to demystify it in its simplest and shortest form,” said Karthik Raman, Convener – Technology & Telecom Committee, IBPC Dubai.
Keynote speaker Adv. Dr. Ujjwal Kumar Chavan, a former IRS officer and regulatory expert, emphasised how AI boosts financial transparency and governance, noting a 38% improvement in transparency and 35% rise in tax buoyancy in India through AI-driven platforms. He also shared insights on AI’s impact in rural development, highlighting how digital tools are connecting communities.
AI transformation expert Vasudevan Kidambi described the post-COVID “NxtEra” where AI enhances human productivity fivefold, saying, “AI automates tasks, Generative AI augments thinking.”
A high-powered panel featured Advait Thakur of Orange Business Services, Rohan Lasrado of Metavolve, Prashant Tewari from Qlik, and Huawei’s Prateek Kumaria. Discussions revolved around AI’s impact on smart cities, immersive collaboration, real-time analytics, and scalable infrastructure—each reinforcing that collaboration and ethical use are key to success.
The event concluded with speaker felicitations led by Dr. Sahitya Chaturvedi and Diamond Members of IBPC. “This session is only a preamble,” said Raman. “The 2026 AI Conclave will be the next big step.”
