At Expo 2020 Dubai, the Swiss Pavilion marked the end of Water Month with a panel discussion on Youth Engagement for a Water Secure World, organized by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The event featured insights from Soraya Kohler, Moderator and Project Manager of the Global Programme Water, who was interviewed by The Brew News Features Editor, Babar Siddiqui. This interview delved into The Blue Peace initiative and emphasized the crucial role of young people as drivers of sustainable development aligned with the UN’s 2030 agenda.

Key participants included representatives from global entities such as the World Youth Parliament for Water and initiatives like the 1 million Youth Action Challenge, both advocating for youth-led solutions to global water challenges. The event provided a platform for stakeholders from various sectors and countries to collaborate openly on water cooperation and peace.
