Dubai: A Jumeirah Bay residence has become the most expensive rented townhouse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Since 2021, post-peak Covid, Jumeirah Bay has been setting new records in plot and property prices. The latest townhouse rental deal further cements this trend. The five-bedroom Jumeira Bay home has recently been rented for Dh3.7 million per year, making it one of the “most valuable” rentals in the Emirates to date.

The 5-bedroom, 5,192 square feet Villa Amalfi home was rented fully furnished, featuring Christofle cutlery, Hermès furnishings, and a collection of contemporary art. In addition to its luxurious interiors, the home includes a private gym, sauna, and rooftop terrace with skyline and sea views.

The record deal was facilitated by Dalila Laaribi and Inga Brykulska at Driven Properties.

Abdullah Alajaji, CEO of Driven Properties, stated “We’ve definitely noticed a significant uptick in rentals exceeding Dh1 million (so far) this year, especially within gated villa communities and penthouses.”

“Based on our experience, high-end properties in prestigious areas such as Jumeirah Bay Island are in exceptionally high demand,” he added. “These residences frequently command rentals of Dh1 million or more.”

The residential community in the Emirates has established itself as one of the city’s most exclusive addresses. Dubai’s City is part of the high-end residential market, and continues to see countless luxurious rentals.

Jumeirah Island is now home to many wealthy new residents who are choosing to make Dubai their new home.
