DUBAI: The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has launched the “Dubai AI Seal,” a groundbreaking initiative aimed at promoting trust in reputable artificial intelligence (AI) companies. This move is in line with the city’s ambitious plan to become a global leader in AI, under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The “Dubai AI Seal” certifies trusted AI companies, establishing a network that government entities and businesses can rely on for secure and responsible AI solutions. Certified companies are awarded a unique serial number and classification, allowing them to showcase their credibility across digital platforms and promotional campaigns.
To be eligible for the seal, AI-related technology companies in Dubai must meet criteria across six key areas, including the nature of their activities, the number of AI specialists, current and future projects, and public-private partnerships.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, emphasised that the initiative would strengthen public-private partnerships, create economic opportunities, and help drive AI adoption for better service delivery across sectors.

The Dubai AI Seal aims to offer an accessible method for verifying reliable AI service providers, supporting the growth of Dubai’s AI sector, and recognising the importance of AI companies to the economy. The initiative will also play a crucial role in creating job opportunities and building stronger alliances between technology companies and government entities.
Launched at AREA2071 in Emirates Towers, the initiative is part of the broader efforts of DCAI to attract global AI solutions, empower local talent, and enhance the quality of life for Dubai’s residents through AI-driven technologies.
