Meta has introduced Vibes, a new short-form AI video platform allowing users to create and share dynamic videos through its Meta AI app and website.
MENLO PARK: Meta Platforms has launched Vibes, a new AI-powered video feed designed to accelerate its push into artificial intelligence and creative content. Vibes allows users to create, remix, and share short-form videos generated with AI, tapping into the booming demand for dynamic, personalised content.
The feature is now available via the Meta AI app and on the official website, meta.ai. It enables users to produce videos from scratch, modify existing content, or remix popular clips from the feed. The platform also supports adding custom visuals, soundtracks, and AI-generated effects to enhance video storytelling.
Once created, videos can be uploaded directly to the Vibes feed or shared seamlessly across Meta’s platforms, including Instagram Stories, Facebook Reels, and other short-form content streams.
Meta says the launch of Vibes underscores its strategy to integrate artificial intelligence across its products, making advanced creative tools accessible to everyday users. By streamlining the video creation process with AI enhancements, the company hopes to foster a new wave of user-driven content innovation.
The rollout of Vibes is part of Meta’s wider commitment to generative AI development. It follows earlier announcements of AI image generation tools and custom chatbot assistants.
Industry analysts suggest Vibes could become a powerful driver of engagement across Meta’s ecosystem, blending AI creativity with the viral nature of short-form video. As the tech giant competes with TikTok and YouTube Shorts, Vibes aims to give users an AI edge in content creation.
Meta’s move further signals the growing intersection between generative AI and entertainment, as social platforms pivot towards immersive, interactive digital experiences.
