ABU DHABI: Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) have teamed up to make ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ the Official Patch Partner of the New York Knicks! This is a pretty big deal, connecting Abu Dhabi’s tourism efforts with one of the most famous basketball teams out there.

But wait, there’s more! Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. and Sphere Entertainment have also signed marketing deals with DCT Abu Dhabi. This means that the ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ brand will get a prominent spot in MSG’s awesome sports and entertainment events.

“This is a huge step for both us and DCT Abu Dhabi,” said a bigwig at MSG Sports. “We’re excited to promote these iconic brands in New York and Las Vegas and can’t wait to show off Abu Dhabi to a global audience!”

The head of DCT Abu Dhabi shared that this partnership is all about putting Abu Dhabi on the map as a top global destination. It also aims to inspire local youth to chase their dreams in sports.

Starting with the Knicks’ 2024-2025 season, you’ll see the ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ logo on all Knicks game jerseys, warm-up jackets, and shooting shirts. They’ll even feature the logo on jerseys sold at Madison Square Garden and online. Plus, this partnership will allow ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ to promote itself internationally, boosting its visibility in sports and tourism.
