MUMBAI: The wedding of Anant Ambani, heir to Reliance, and Radhika Merchant has captured everyone’s attention with its lavishness and grandeur. Scheduled over three days starting July 12, this event has prompted authorities to enforce various restrictions across Mumbai, especially in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), a prominent business district.
BKC, known for its corporate offices and upscale facilities, will see adjustments due to these restrictions. Many offices in this area have opted for employees to work from home during this period.
The wedding will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, owned by Reliance Industries. This has led to luxury hotels like Taj and Lila being fully booked for the occasion. The guest list includes top business figures, global celebrities, and leaders from around the world.

In response to the wedding’s scale, law enforcement has implemented measures in the area. Companies based in BKC have advised their employees to telecommute from July 12 to July 15.
The festivities will unfold across three days: the wedding ceremony (Shubh Vivah) on July 12, the blessings ceremony (Shubh Aashirwad) on July 13, and the grand reception (Mangal Utsav) starting from 6:00 PM on July 14.
