Celebrated Indian theatrical epic Humare Ram will premiere internationally at Dubai Opera from 14–17 August 2025.

DUBAI: One of India’s most acclaimed stage productions, Humare Ram, is set to make its highly anticipated international premiere at Dubai Opera from 14–17 August 2025. Following an exclusive press conference on 6 August at Taj Business Bay, Dubai, the show’s cast and creators shared insights into the creative journey behind this landmark production.

With over 500,000 live viewers, 300 sold-out performances, and tours across 25 Indian cities, Humare Ram has redefined Indian theatre by blending spiritual storytelling with world-class stagecraft. The Dubai debut represents a cultural milestone, offering audiences a cinematic and immersive retelling of the Ramayana as a timeless philosophy rather than just mythology.

The cast includes acclaimed actor Ashutosh Rana as a complex and introspective Ravan, Rahull R Bhuchar as Shri Ram and the production’s visionary creator, Harleen Kaur Rekhi as Sita, Danish Akhtar as Hanuman, Tarun Khanna as Lord Shiva, and Karan Sharma as Surya. The production also features original music by Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kailash Kher, alongside cutting-edge LED projection mapping, aerial choreography, and intricate costumes.

Speaking at the press conference, Rana noted, “To play Ravan is not to play the villain — it is to embody intellect, ego, and the complex nature of dharma.” Bhuchar added, “Humare Ram is our offering — an emotional, spiritual, and visual experience reconnecting a generation with the Ramayana.”

With a strong Indian community presence in the UAE, the show promises to resonate deeply, attracting theatre lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and spiritual seekers alike. Tickets for opening days are nearly sold out, with double shows planned for the closing weekend.
