Sharjah: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, attended the graduation ceremony of Sharjah University and talked about the university’s strong commitment to gaining knowledge. This commitment aligns with the vision of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This dedication has greatly improved the university’s efforts in science and academics across different subjects.
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed shared these thoughts during a speech at the graduation ceremony for female students from the colleges of Business Administration, Computing and Informatics, Sciences, and Engineering at the University of Sharjah for the fall semester of 2023-2024. The ceremony took place at the University City Hall on Sunday.
The event began with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, followed by verses from the Holy Quran. Dr. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, the university’s Chancellor, thanked Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for honoring the female graduates. Moza Al Suwaidi, representing her fellow graduates from the College of Engineering, expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, the university’s Founder, for unwavering support for education. She also thanked the University President and the university’s teaching and administrative staff.
During the ceremony, the University President handed certificates to 337 female graduates from bachelor’s programs in the College of Business Administration, the College of Computing and Informatics, the College of Sciences, and the College of Engineering. He wished them continued success in their future endeavors.
