Hollywood star Keanu Reeves made his exciting professional race debut on Saturday at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. During the race, the Matrix star spun off the track into the grass at turn nine, but luckily, he didn’t crash. It happened a little over halfway through the 45-minute race, and he quickly got back on track, showing he was just fine.
Reeves, who started in 31st place out of 35 cars, climbed as high as 21st during the race and skillfully avoided a first-lap crash at turn 14. He ended up finishing in 25th place.

At 60 years old, Reeves is racing in the Toyota GR Cup, a spec-racing series by Toyota, which is part of this weekend’s Indy 8 Hour sports car event. He has another race lined up for Sunday.
In the race, Reeves is behind the wheel of the No. 92 BRZRKR car, which is promoting his graphic novel The Book of Elsewhere. Although this is his first professional race, Reeves has some racing experience, having participated in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach celebrity race before, where he actually won in 2009.

In addition to his racing adventures, Reeves will also be attending a special 30th-anniversary screening of Speed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, where he will be joined by his co-star Sandra Bullock.
