ABU DHABI: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the largest 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024 concluded successfully at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi. Organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, this edition marked the largest in the event’s history, solidifying its status as a leading celebration of heritage and the outdoors.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, hailed the event as a milestone that showcased Abu Dhabi’s role as a global hub for cultural heritage in hunting and equestrianism. The exhibition saw a significant turnout, reflecting the growing interest in preserving traditions while embracing modernity. Al Dhaheri expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership for their support and acknowledged the contributions of sponsors and partners in elevating ADIHEX to new heights.

Saad Al Hassani, Director of ADIHEX, praised the participation of local and international exhibitors, noting that the event served as a platform for cultural exchange and promoting sustainable practices. This year’s exhibition attracted 347,481 visitors, a 205% increase from last year, and featured 1,742 companies from 65 countries.
GRS was appointed to assess satisfaction levels, revealing high exhibitor and visitor contentment. The exhibition featured 11 sectors, including falconry, equestrianism, and UAE heritage, with new events like the Knowledge Platform and online falcon bidding. Highlights included record-breaking falcon sales, a falconry beauty contest, and a camel auction.

The exhibition also set a Guinness World Record for the largest falcon burqa and welcomed thousands of schoolchildren for educational tours. ADIHEX’s commitment to inclusivity was showcased in a competition for People of Determination, reinforcing its status as a premier global event.
