DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, visited the eighth edition of Dubai Active, Dubai Active Industry, and Dubai Muscle Show at Expo City Dubai. This three-day event, held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, is set to conclude on October 27 and stands as the Middle East’s premier fitness and bodybuilding showcase.

This year, the event aims to attract a record 38,000 visitors, who can enjoy diverse bodybuilding competitions, fitness challenges, and talks by top industry personalities, including Mr. Olympia champions. Featuring 400 exhibitors from 40 countries, the exhibition highlights leading brands in sports equipment, nutritional supplements, and fitness gear. Sheikh Mansoor, alongside key Dubai Sports Council officials, engaged with exhibitors, discussing cutting-edge products in training, fitness, and nutrition.

Among the event’s highlights is the Dubai Muscle Classic, the region’s top bodybuilding competition, offering AED70,000 in prize money and 13 IFBB Pro Cards for high-level bodybuilding athletes. Legendary figures, such as eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, coach Hany Rambod, and Phil Heath, are slated to speak at Dubai Muscle Talks, sharing insights on training, nutrition, and the mindset of champions.

This year, the show also sees the return of the schools initiative, providing free tickets to UAE students to inspire fitness interests among youth in cooperation with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority and Gems Education Foundation. Special features like the ‘HYROX 365 Challenge’ powered by GymNation and the Heroes of Hope Foundation’s inclusive competition bring added excitement to the event.
