DUBAI: Marking the 7th anniversary of their partnership, Emirates airline and flydubai announced a significant milestone: together, they’ve operated over 1.5 million flights since 2017, transporting more than 19 million passengers. This figure represents a passenger base equivalent to the combined populations of Paris and New York City, highlighting the vast reach and popularity of the collaboration.

This partnership, established in 2017, has expanded travel options considerably, providing passengers of both airlines with seamless access to a joint network of over 225 destinations in more than 100 countries. For Emirates customers, this means access to 118 flydubai destinations, while flydubai passengers benefit from Emirates’ broader international network with 136 destinations.

The partnership also optimises convenience, as customers now have around 275 codeshare flights available each day. This variety enables passengers to easily connect to a wide range of destinations, catering to diverse travel needs, from business trips to leisure vacations. By integrating their networks, Emirates and flydubai have simplified travel planning, making it easier for passengers to book connecting flights and enjoy smooth transfers within Dubai International Airport.

The collaboration leverages the strengths of both airlines: Emirates, known for its long-haul international flights and premium experience, and flydubai, recognised for its regional and budget-friendly routes.
