Dubai: Rayad Group has accepted full responsibility for recent reports surrounding a purported nomination-based UAE Golden Visa initiative, which included claims of a fixed Dh100,000 fee and lifetime visa benefits. Following stringent measures by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP), Rayad Group stated, “We acknowledge recent media coverage and public discourse regarding the initiative. This was part of an exploratory collaboration aimed at assessing the feasibility of providing advisory support for Golden Visa applications aligned with UAE strategic priorities.”
Rayad Group “apologised for the confusion caused by recent news reports”.

“We take full responsibility for ensuring future communications are clear, accurate, and consistent with the UAE’s stringent regulatory frameworks.” The group clarified, “Visa decisions remain solely under UAE government jurisdiction. Our role was limited to providing advisory support through legal pathways. We apologize for any confusion caused and commit to clearer, accurate communications in line with UAE regulatory standards.”
Separately, the other entity caught in the controversy, VFS ETM Services-FZCO, clarified, “VFS ETM Services-FZCO entered into a non-exclusive referral agreement with Rayad group Management LLE FZ. Rayad Group authorized VFS ETM to receive enquiries from individuals interested in the UAE Golden Visa scheme.

Our role was strictly limited to informing interested individuals about the services offered by the Rayad Group and direct such individuals to Rayad Group. It was the responsibility of the Rayad Group to share profile of such interested individuals with the competent authority authorized to take the final decision on the eligibility to apply for the visa.
We continue to comply fully with all the applicable laws and regulations in the UAE.”
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has denied the accuracy of rumours circulated by some local and international media outlets and websites regarding the United Arab Emirates granting lifetime Golden Visas to certain nationalities.
ICP clarified that the categories, conditions, and regulations of the Golden Visa are clearly defined in accordance with official laws, legislations, and ministerial decisions. Interested individuals can find the official information on the Authority’s website or smart application.
It emphasised that all Golden Visa applications are handled exclusively through official government channels within the UAE, and that no internal or external consultancy entity is recognised as an authorised party in the application process.
It urged all individuals wishing to visit, live, or invest in the UAE not to respond to inaccurate rumors and false news aimed at quick profit. They should avoid paying any fees or submitting personal documents to any party claiming to provide these services.
The Authority strongly advised everyone to always refer to official sources to verify the accuracy of procedures—either through the Authority’s official website or by contacting the call centre at 600522222, available 24/7, before taking any action.
