DSS 2025 debuts Gahwa Beats Dubai—a five-week coffee and music pop-up series in iconic venues.

Dubai: Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 is brewing something fresh and vibrant this season with the launch of Gahwa Beats, a first-ever pop-up series that brings coffee and music together at unique venues across Dubai. Running over five Saturdays—26 July, 2 August, 9 August, 16 August, and 23 August—Gahwa Beats Dubai offers a new ritual combining artisan brews, live DJ sets, and unforgettable atmospheres.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Gahwa Beats takes over iconic locations—TODA Theatre, Sky Views Observatory, ROXY Cinemas, Dubai Ice Rink, and Deep Dive Dubai—offering immersive, high-energy experiences. Powered by DRVN Coffee and local DJs, each pop-up creates a fresh way to explore the city’s coffee and music scene.

The series kicks off at TODA Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah on 26 July, with DJ Akmaral performing amid 360° digital art. On 2 August, DJ Whiteboy brings beats to Sky Views Observatory, 220m above ground (AED 80).

On 9 August, DJ Swannahh plays at ROXY Cinemas (The Beach, JBR). Entry is free with registration; 18+ only. The fourth event, on 16 August, transforms Dubai Ice Rink into a DJ-led skate party (AED 120). The grand finale on 23 August will be held at Deep Dive Dubai, the world’s deepest pool—details coming soon.

Gahwa Beats runs alongside DSS’s Great Dubai Summer Sale and Back to School seasons, adding a cultural layer to summer shopping. Supported by key partners like Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates, ENOC, and mall groups, the series spotlights local creativity, coffee, and community.
