Health officials in Gaza report 69 fatalities and over 360 injuries in the past 24 hours amid ongoing hostilities.

GAZA: Health authorities in Gaza reported on Monday that 69 people lost their lives and 362 were injured in the past 24 hours during continued conflict in the region.

Medical sources indicated that these figures bring the total reported fatalities since October 7, 2023, to 61,499, with 153,575 injured. The toll includes casualties from multiple incidents across the territory, as hostilities continue to impact densely populated areas.

According to the same sources, hospitals received the bodies of 29 individuals who died while attempting to obtain food aid during the past day. Humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain challenging, with medical facilities under significant pressure.

Additionally, health officials confirmed that deaths attributed to malnutrition have risen to 222, including 101 children. In the last 24 hours alone, five such fatalities were recorded, one of them a child. International aid agencies have repeatedly called for safe access to essential supplies to prevent further loss of life.
