Aster Clinics launches Smyl AI dental tool, UAE’s first free AI-based dental screening service via WhatsApp, ensuring instant, private, and expert-guided oral health care.
Dubai: In a significant advancement for preventive oral healthcare, Aster Clinics has launched Smyl AI—the UAE’s first AI-powered dental screening tool, offering free and instant assessments via WhatsApp. This innovative service allows users to receive a comprehensive dental health report in under two minutes, simply by answering a few questions and uploading three photos of their teeth.
Smyl AI is part of Aster Clinics’ new Smarter Smiles initiative, designed to encourage early detection, raise awareness, and make dental care more accessible. Developed in collaboration with Logy.AI, an Indian AI healthcare company, this tool uses advanced algorithms to analyse images for common dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, plaque, tartar, stains, and oral hygiene concerns.
Users can access the service by visiting https://logy.ai/aster_uae and sending “Hi Aster Clinics” on WhatsApp. After selecting their language and providing basic details, users upload three images—front, upper, and lower teeth. Within minutes, a detailed AI-generated report is delivered, highlighting potential concerns. If needed, users can then seamlessly book an appointment with over 30 dental specialists at any of Aster’s 110 clinics across the UAE.

According to a recent survey, 80% of UAE residents suffer from dental caries, yet only 20% schedule annual check-ups. Many delay dental visits due to fear, cost, or inconvenience. This tool addresses those barriers by enabling easy, remote evaluations that promote proactive care.
Smyl AI also ensures data privacy and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, using encrypted channels and storing patient data only with consent.
