UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed awarded Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi the First-Class Order of Zayed II for his diplomatic service.

ABU DHABI: In a gesture that underscores strong diplomatic ties, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, the prestigious First-Class Order of Zayed II. The honour recognises his efforts in strengthening UAE–Pakistan relations during his diplomatic tenure.

The award was presented by Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, during a special reception held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi. Al Marar praised the ambassador’s contributions and reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Pakistan across various sectors.

Ambassador Tirmizi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the UAE President and government, applauding the nation’s continued development and forward-thinking leadership. He also commended the cooperation extended by UAE institutions, which he said significantly contributed to the success of his mission.

The UAE and Pakistan share a long-standing bilateral relationship, built on trade, diaspora ties, and strategic cooperation. The awarding of the Order of Zayed II highlights the importance the UAE places on fostering meaningful diplomatic relationships in the region and beyond.

Tirmizi concluded by acknowledging the evolving partnership between both countries and expressed optimism about the continued growth of bilateral collaboration in years to come.
