Four expats from India and Pakistan win a combined AED510,000 in Big Ticket’s The Big Win Contest, celebrating life-changing prizes.

ABU DHABI: The Big Ticket’s The Big Win Contest has delivered another round of life-changing moments, awarding four lucky participants a combined AED510,000 in Series 277. The winners — Indian and Pakistani expats — represent the contest’s growing community of hopeful participants across the region.

Aslam Shaikh, a 42-year-old mobile shop owner from Andhra Pradesh living in Kuwait, won AED150,000. A regular group participant with six friends, he plans to reinvest his share in his business. Smiresh Athikkunnu Parambil Kunchan, 40, from Kerala and based in Al Ain, claimed AED120,000, which he will share with his group of 16 friends and use to support his family.

Pakistani national Mohammad Sikandar Hayat, a 55-year-old mechanical engineer residing in Abu Dhabi for nearly three decades, finally struck gold after 20 years of solo ticket purchases, winning AED100,000, which he will divide among his four daughters. The top win went to Firoz Khan from India, who purchased his ticket online and secured AED140,000, adding another success story to the contest’s history.

Big Ticket’s August promotions are also creating buzz, with a grand AED15 million prize set for the live draw on 3 September, alongside six consolation prizes of AED100,000 each. The Big Win Contest will also select four participants for guaranteed cash prizes between AED50,000 and AED150,000, with names announced on 1 September. Car enthusiasts can look forward to the BMW M440i prize on 3 September and the Range Rover Velar giveaway on 3 October.
