DUBAI: In a visionary push to strengthen public safety and future-readiness, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has directed Dubai Police to intensify its efforts in becoming the world’s leading police force through artificial intelligence and smart technology.
During a high-level meeting attended by key government officials including Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and Lt. Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Sheikh Hamdan underscored the need for continuous investment in innovation and national talent. His directive aims to ensure Dubai sets a global benchmark for security services powered by advanced technologies.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the force’s achievements and urged further development of personnel skills and AI capabilities. “We are proud of Dubai Police’s achievements and look forward to the force becoming a global leader in harnessing advanced technologies and AI,” he said. “Building a smart security ecosystem requires investing in creative minds, fostering innovation, and empowering national talent.”
