Sharjah: The Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) has invited global innovators, creatives, and communication professionals to participate in 13 categories of the Sharjah Government Communication Award (SGCA 2024).

These categories offer a platform to showcase groundbreaking communication work.

Participants can submit their entries that meet the award’s criteria through the website www.igcc.ae until August 1st.

For the government sector, SGMB announced three categories: Best Integrated Communication System, Best Campaign Targeting Cultural Identity and the Arabic Language, and Best Communication Targeting Youth. The third category includes two subcategories: Best Campaign Positively Impacting Youth Awareness and Practices, and Best Communication Program Supporting Emerging Projects and Youth.

Six awards have been announced for the public and private sectors and international organizations, including Best Communication Strategy Dealing with Crises, Best Communication with Artificial Intelligence Technology in Service of the Community, Best Communication and Media Content, Best Communication and Humanitarian Practices Supporting Social Responsibility, Best Investment in Soft Power to Support Communication Programs, and Best Communication Project Targeting Children and Adolescents.

Additionally, SGMB announced four individual awards: Best Youth Initiative in Government Communication, Best Official Spokesperson (employed in a government agency), Best Research in Communication Sciences, and Best Purposeful Digital Content Creator.

Applicants must submit a comprehensive file including an executive summary, headings, illustrations, and supporting materials like infographics, videos, and photos, aligning with the criteria for each category.
