DUBAI: Dubai Chambers recently teamed up with Al Jalila Foundation, pledging AED15 million to help establish the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital in Dubai. This hospital marks a significant step forward in the city’s healthcare landscape, providing comprehensive cancer care in one location.

The partnership, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, reflects their joint commitment to enhancing community well-being. His Excellency Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, emphasized their dedication to supporting initiatives that improve life quality and foster social and economic growth, echoing the vision of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg, Chairperson of Al Jalila Foundation, expressed gratitude for Dubai Chambers’ substantial contribution, which will help realize the vision of a modern cancer hospital with advanced facilities such as clinics, research areas, and patient-friendly gardens.

The hospital’s design focuses not only on medical excellence but also on providing a healing environment. With plans for 116 beds and specialized care units, it aims to offer integrated services from diagnosis to recovery.
