DUBAI: Dubai Police has issued a strong alert to the public, warning them about Global Village ticket scams circulating online and on social media. These scams falsely claim to sell VIP packs for the upcoming Global Village season at discounted rates.

The fraudulent links are created to mislead people into sharing personal data and making fake payments. According to Dubai Police, these fake websites closely resemble the official platforms, tricking users into believing they are making legitimate purchases.

The police highlighted that this scam reappears each year, taking advantage of the high interest in Global Village. To avoid being scammed, residents are urged to only purchase tickets or VIP packs through authorised and verified channels.

As per report, Dubai Police has confirmed that the official places to buy Global Village tickets are:

  • The Global Village website
  • Its mobile application
  • Coca-Cola Arena’s official website (for VIP packs)
  • Other authorised outlets

These are the only guaranteed ways to protect your money and data, according to the police.

Authorities are also encouraging the public to be cautious and report any suspicious links through the e-Crime platform or by dialling 901. By staying alert and reporting, the community can help reduce online fraud and protect others from becoming victims of Global Village ticket scams.
