Dubai Ride 2025 invites cyclists to register now and pedal iconic Dubai landmarks on Sheikh Zayed Road.
DUBAI: Registrations are now open for Dubai Ride 2025, offering cyclists of all ages the chance to cycle past Dubai’s world-famous landmarks in one of the region’s largest community fitness events.
Set to take place on 2 November 2025, the ride is a flagship event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, drawing thousands of participants each year. Organised by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council, the event invites fitness enthusiasts to take on either a 4km family-friendly route or a scenic 12km loop along Sheikh Zayed Road — passing iconic spots like the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.
Now in its sixth edition, Dubai Ride is more than just a cycling event — it’s a celebration of health, movement, and community spirit, especially in this Year of Community in the UAE. The event also sees the return of Speed Laps, a high-intensity ride for advanced cyclists who can maintain a pace of 30 km/h over 12km. Speed Lap registrations open on 6 October, with racers required to use specialised bikes and follow official marshal guidance.
Last year, over 37,000 cyclists participated in this grand showcase of fitness, and organisers are expecting even greater numbers this year. People of Determination are also encouraged to join, with specially adapted bikes and routes designed for inclusivity.
Participants will receive event bibs and can collect them from Zabeel Park between 29 October and 1 November. The event is supported by major partners including DP World, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Airline, Huawei, RTA and more.
Officials highlight that Dubai Ride contributes significantly to positioning the Emirate as one of the world’s most active cities, encouraging a lifestyle centred around wellbeing and unity.
