DUBAI: Dubai is set to take centre stage in global sports innovation with the launch of the ‘LEVEL UP’ Sports Tech Innovation Expo, announced in partnership between Dubai Sports Council (DSC) and Global MICE Organisation Limited (GMOLx). Taking place from 27–29 November 2025 at Dubai Harbour, LEVEL UP aims to redefine how sports are played, experienced, and managed through next-gen technologies.
This three-day global event is expected to draw over 10,000 attendees, including elite athletes, sports federations, tech startups, investors, global brands, and industry professionals. LEVEL UP will provide a dynamic platform to explore performance-enhancing wearables, immersive fan tech, stadium security, AI analytics, esports innovations, and more.
The expo arrives as Dubai’s sports economy continues to expand rapidly. The Middle East and Africa sports tech market is projected to hit US$3.3 billion by 2030, with Dubai contributing US$2.5 billion annually to its economy. Through initiatives like LEVEL UP, Dubai reinforces its strategic position as a global sports and entertainment hub.
Speaking at the launch, Eisa Sharif, Director of Sport Events Department at DSC, said: “Dubai is committed to hosting world-class sporting events and community-driven initiatives with innovation at the core. LEVEL UP will be an international platform for collaboration, talent exchange and industry transformation.”
Alongside tech showcases, the event will feature celebrity meet-and-greets, keynote talks, live demos, esports tournaments, and awards honouring top sports tech leaders and startups. Side activities like street football, padel, and basketball competitions will invite community participation.
