DUBAI: Leading international universities in Dubai have announced a broad array of new academic programmes and scholarships ahead of the 2025–26 academic year, reinforcing the emirate’s ambition to become one of the world’s top 10 education destinations by 2033 under the Education Strategy 2033 (E33).
Institutions located in Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City are introducing courses across disciplines such as artificial intelligence (AI), game development, creative arts, and financial technology. These initiatives aim to equip the next generation with real-world skills while supporting Dubai’s long-term economic goals.
Amity University Dubai will offer up to 50% scholarships and 30% bursaries, alongside fully accredited programmes. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai is launching new degrees in financial technology and the arts, with merit-based and sports scholarships of up to 50%. The University of Birmingham Dubai is introducing advanced robotics and AI courses, along with MSc degrees in urban analytics and sports medicine, offering tuition reductions of up to 50%.
The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) has also expanded merit-based undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships, including a 50% Adam Gilchrist Sports Award. Murdoch University Dubai is launching a games design programme with up to 40% merit scholarships, while SAE University College Dubai now offers a Bachelor in Computer Science and grants of up to AED 50,000. SP Jain School of Global Management has introduced a Master of Applied Finance and a ‘New Mothers’ scholarship as part of its inclusive education approach.
Speaking on the developments, Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City, said, “Our ecosystems address the urgent need to equip today’s students with tomorrow’s essential skills, while supporting Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and E33 vision.”
Together, these institutions are driving the transformation of Dubai into a hub for innovation-driven education, backed by a diversified academic ecosystem, practical learning, and future-ready infrastructure.
