LONDON: Emirates has soared to new heights once again, clinching the title of Best Long Haul Airline at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2025. The Dubai-based airline earned the top spot through a vote by 20,000 Telegraph Travel readers, who praised its luxurious in-flight experience, extensive global network, and consistent service excellence.
The prestigious ceremony took place last week at the Pompadour Hotel Café Royal in London, where Helen Breen, Emirates’ Leisure Sales Manager in the UK, accepted the award on behalf of the airline. The honour marks a return to the top for Emirates, which previously won the same title in 2023, and complements its 2024 recognition as the World’s Best Airline.
Emirates’ commitment to delivering superior travel experiences has been reinforced with several industry accolades, including being named 2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand by YouGov—making it the only airline to appear in the global top 10 list.
In line with its Fly Better promise, Emirates has expanded its service offerings significantly over the past year. The airline launched flights to five new destinations including Shenzhen, Da Nang, Siem Reap, Damascus, and Hangzhou. It also rolled out its latest Emirates A350 aircraft to 10 destinations and plans to increase that number to 17 by year-end.
Further enhancing its travel experience, Emirates introduced 18 new Business Class dishes paired with premium Champagne, and completed the refurbishment of 61 aircraft under its US$ 5 billion retrofit programme. Nine redesigned travel retail stores have also been opened across three continents, improving the customer engagement experience on-ground.
Emirates Skywards, the airline’s award-winning loyalty programme, now offers seamless two-way point conversions with hotel partners like Marriott Bonvoy and ALL, while also expanding reciprocal benefits with Garuda Indonesia and AEGEAN.
Recognised year after year for its innovation and hospitality, Emirates continues to define excellence in long-haul air travel for global passengers.
