FOCP launches Pink October 2025 with fixed and mobile clinics, corporate wellness days, and community events to promote early breast cancer detection.
SHARJAH: The Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) has officially launched its annual Pink October campaign, marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025 with an extensive programme of free screenings, wellness initiatives, and awareness activities across the UAE.
The campaign, led by the Pink Caravan, will provide complimentary clinical, mammogram, and ultrasound screenings at 86+ sites nationwide, including fixed clinics in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah, as well as mobile clinics touring key cities. Clinics will run throughout October from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily, with extended hours in Khorfakkan.
“This campaign reflects our vision of transforming awareness into a responsible health culture rooted in prevention,” said Aisha Al Mulla, Director of FOCP. “The UAE’s experience in cancer prevention and early intervention has become a model that inspires the region and the world.”
The campaign includes corporate wellness services, such as mobile clinic visits to workplaces, Pink October Corporate Wellness Days, and educational workshops covering early detection and breast self-examination. Companies can book on-site sessions or host online awareness lectures.
Community engagement is at the heart of the campaign, with events like the Pink Caravan Community Festival at Aljada, Sharjah (Oct 10–12), the Pink Tour at Dubai Expo City (Oct 12), and Ride with Rixos Abu Dhabi (Oct 18). The Pink Caravan will also participate in the Battle Cancer Challenge in Dubai (Oct 25).
Volunteer opportunities are open to survivors, influencers, healthcare workers, and media professionals, while sponsorships from Crescent Petroleum, SNOC, SEWA, Sharjah Media City, and others underscore strong institutional support.
Proceeds from the Pink Shop’s merchandise collection—featuring pins, bracelets, candles, and bags—will go toward supporting cancer patients and their families.
