ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. The promotion was announced through a federal decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The elevation comes in recognition of Sheikh Hamdan’s contributions to the nation, both in his role as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and as a committed member of the UAE’s leadership.
