ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has officially announced that Friday, 5 September 2025, will be a paid public holiday for all private sector employees across the UAE. This day marks the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him), and aligns with the national holiday schedule observed in the country.
The announcement was made through MoHRE’s official channels, reaffirming the UAE government’s commitment to acknowledging key religious and cultural events in a way that honours tradition and supports work-life balance for residents and citizens.
