This year, summer in the UAE is anything but quiet. Despite the warm climate, the nation has transformed the season into a thriving tourism window, supported by hotel discounts, immersive indoor entertainment, and large-scale promotional campaigns. Preliminary data shows hotel occupancy rates between 60 and 70 percent in July and early August, reflecting growing demand.

Key highlights of the season include Abu Dhabi’s Liwa Dates Festival, which welcomed over 144,000 visitors, and the Historic Dalma Race Festival. The capital also hosted the 6th IMMAF Youth World Championships, drawing over 1,000 athletes from 60 countries. In Dubai, the annual Dubai Summer Surprises continues until 31st August, offering prizes, raffles, and non-stop entertainment.
