Toastmasters UAE will welcome 2025 World Champion of Public Speaking Sabyasachi Sengupta as keynote speaker at a leadership conclave in Dubai.

DUBAI: The UAE Toastmasters community is preparing to host a unique leadership conclave this Sunday, 21 September, at The Aquila School in Dubailand, featuring Sabyasachi Sengupta, the newly crowned World Champion of Public Speaking 2025. Sengupta will deliver the keynote address at the “Champion’s Leadership Conclave,” an event designed to empower voices and build leaders across the region.

The conclave, organised by Toastmasters District 127, will welcome over 1,000 participants, including members, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the GCC. Themed “Empowering Voices, Building Leaders,” the event will offer transformative workshops, inspiring keynotes, and unparalleled networking opportunities. DTM Col. Mohammad Murad, past international president of Toastmasters, will lead a flagship leadership workshop.

District Director DTM Sujil CV said: “We are proud to welcome the World Champion Sabyasachi Sengupta to Dubai as keynote speaker. This summit will deliver transformative insights in leadership and communication, helping participants elevate their life skills.”

Commenting on his visit, Sengupta shared: “At the conclave, I will unpack my journey to winning the World Championship and the craft of authentic speeches, including behind-the-scenes moments from my winning speech, ‘Just Nod.’ Sometimes the smartest move on stage, and in life, is exactly that.”

Based in Amsterdam, Sengupta represented District 59 at the World Championship of Public Speaking. His award-winning speech highlighted how everyday moments can become performances that inspire, influence, and leave lasting impressions.

Toastmasters International, a non-profit with a global footprint, has been nurturing communication and leadership for nearly a century. Its UAE chapter, District 127, spans more than 155 clubs and 3,000 members, making it one of the region’s most dynamic communities. This weekend’s conclave promises to celebrate that spirit, offering participants both inspiration and practical strategies for personal and professional growth.
