GRAMSH: The UAE Rescue Team is continuing its forest firefighting operations in the Republic of Albania for the fourth consecutive day, working in full coordination with local authorities to contain multiple wildfires. These efforts reflect the UAE’s ongoing commitment to international humanitarian assistance and crisis response.
The team, deployed under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, began its operations on Monday in the forests of the Gramsh region and nearby areas. Since then, firefighters have maintained a relentless presence on the ground despite extreme temperatures and difficult terrain.
Equipped with advanced firefighting tools and technology, the UAE Rescue Team has implemented rigorous field monitoring strategies to ensure the fires are fully controlled and prevent any flare-ups. Their work is marked by precision, discipline, and speed.
