GEMS Education will partner with Infinity Developments to open a premier international school in Zanzibar’s Infinity Hills community by 2027.
STONE TOWN: GEMS School Management (GSM), part of the globally renowned GEMS Education group, has announced a strategic collaboration with Infinity Developments to explore the establishment of a world-class international school in Zanzibar by 2027.
The proposed school will be located within the Infinity Hills community — a sustainable, master-planned development in Stone Town that integrates green living with modern amenities. The school will uphold the GEMS Education hallmark of academic excellence, innovation, and student-centric care, offering a future-ready curriculum with strong emphasis on digital learning, STEM, and leadership development.
This initiative is aligned with GEMS Education’s vision, led by its founder Mr. Sunny Varkey, to make exceptional, quality education accessible to students worldwide. The new GEMS Zanzibar school aims to serve both local and expatriate families by bringing international best practices to East Africa’s rapidly evolving education landscape.
