ABU DHABI: Continuing its humanitarian efforts, the UAE’s ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’ has delivered advanced ambulances to hospitals in the Gaza Strip as part of UAE humanitarian aid. These state-of-the-art vehicles are equipped with cutting-edge medical technology to support hospitals under immense pressure due to the ongoing crisis.
The healthcare system in Gaza is facing severe challenges, including a critical shortage of functioning ambulances. Hundreds of vehicles have been damaged or destroyed, complicating efforts to transport patients and provide emergency care. The newly delivered ambulances will address these gaps by ensuring timely medical assistance for the injured and enhancing overall emergency response.
This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to easing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza by strengthening its healthcare infrastructure. Beyond ambulances, ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’ also provides vital medical supplies, medicines, and equipment. These contributions are crucial in helping hospitals manage the increasing demand for services.
Earlier phases of this operation had also included donations of high-tech ambulances to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The ongoing support aims to bolster healthcare services and ensure that emergency treatment remains accessible despite the challenges.
The UAE’s continued efforts highlight the importance of international humanitarian support in regions facing conflict and crisis. By addressing critical needs in Gaza’s health sector, these initiatives are making a tangible difference in improving emergency medical care and saving lives.
