The MENA Golf Tour is relaunching with 12 tournaments and a new GM, offering $100,000 prize pools.
DUBAI: The MENA Golf Tour is back on the global stage, unveiling a dynamic new season beginning this November. The region’s only professional golf circuit officially recognised by the Official World Golf Ranking will feature 12 international tournaments, each with a prize pool of US$100,000.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in the UAE, the MENA Golf Tour has announced a major relaunch aimed at elevating its presence and impact across the global golfing landscape. The season will kick off with a Qualifying School event in Portugal before extending through March 2026 with tournaments held across multiple international venues.
A significant change accompanying the relaunch is the appointment of Richard Rayment as the new General Manager. With over 30 years of experience in international golf and sports management, Rayment is expected to steer the Tour into a new era of professional development and global visibility.
Now fully rebranded, the MENA Golf Tour aims to serve as a stepping stone for emerging talent from the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond. It provides a direct pathway to the HotelPlanner Tour and the prestigious DP World Tour Qualifying School, reinforcing its role as a vital platform for up-and-coming golfers.
This exciting new chapter is not only a boost for golf enthusiasts in the region but also a strategic move that strengthens the UAE’s position as a global hub for professional sports.
