Ajman Tourism begins a promotional India roadshow to boost global partnerships and highlight its top travel attractions.

AJMAN: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has announced the launch of a major promotional roadshow across India, with the goal of strengthening tourism ties and introducing Ajman’s diverse offerings to a wider international audience.

Led by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, the roadshow starts today, September 15, and continues until September 19 2025, stopping in key Indian cities like New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata. This campaign underscores Ajman’s commitment to expanding into new markets and creating lasting tourism partnerships with global stakeholders.

Alhashmi highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating that it reflects Ajman’s strategic vision to become a leading tourist destination by encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange. The roadshow will focus on showcasing the emirate’s latest tourism developments, heritage attractions, cultural landmarks, and leisure projects designed to appeal to Indian travellers and industry leaders alike.

Each city visit will involve a series of official events and meetings aimed at strengthening Ajman’s ties with the Indian travel sector. Key outcomes include promoting sustainable tourism, boosting hotel revenues, increasing tourist inflow, and enhancing job opportunities in the emirate’s growing tourism sector.

The initiative also seeks to establish strategic agreements with Indian tourism operators, encouraging joint marketing campaigns, information sharing, and potential investment in Ajman’s hospitality landscape. By bringing Ajman’s tourism experiences to the Indian market, the roadshow is expected to raise global awareness and elevate the emirate’s standing as a unique and memorable destination.

Alhashmi reiterated that this project aligns with the Government of Ajman’s broader goals of economic diversification and cultural promotion, making tourism a vital pillar of long-term growth.
