ABU DHABI: The latest draw in Big Ticket Series 278 has brought smiles to six lucky winners from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Jordan—each taking home AED 100,000, totalling AED 600,000 in prize money. Held on 12 September 2025, the draw continues Big Ticket’s long-standing tradition of turning everyday lives into extraordinary stories.
Among the winners is Mohammad Rashed, a 49-year-old Bangladeshi national who has lived in Dubai for 19 years. Working in the cleaning sector, Rashed has been purchasing Big Ticket entries with a group of 10 friends for four years. “I always believed my time would come,” he shared emotionally, noting that his winnings will go toward repaying loans and supporting his family back home.
Another group winner is Jujethan Juje, whose colleague Aneesh Amal Jacob, a 37-year-old production assistant from India, spoke on behalf of their 10-member team. Amal and his colleagues have been buying tickets for a decade, never expecting to win. “We were browsing online when we saw our name. It was surreal,” he said, adding that they plan to divide the prize evenly.
Nasser El Farouki from Jordan struck gold through a free ticket as part of a Big Ticket promotion. He had almost stopped participating but was inspired to continue after receiving the winning notification.
Other winners include Nikhil Raj Natarajan, Muhamed Faizal Vembala, and Ranjit Kumar Nair, each of whom won through promotional tickets and expressed joy over their unexpected windfalls.
The excitement continues with a massive AED 20 million grand prize up for grabs in the next live draw on 3rd October. Weekly draws are also ongoing throughout September, with four AED 50,000 prizes awarded each week. Those purchasing two or more tickets by 24 September are automatically entered into The Big Win Contest, offering cash rewards between AED 50,000 to AED 150,000.
