Dubai South’s Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub posts 15% growth in private jet movements, reinforcing its global aviation leadership.

DUBAI: Dubai South continues to soar as a premier destination for international aviation, with the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) recording 9,753 private jet movements in the first half of 2025—a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. Dubai South sees 15% rise in business jet traffic in first half of 2025, underlining its status as the leading business aviation gateway in the Middle East.

This growth highlights the ongoing expansion of business aviation through Al Maktoum International Airport, which remains a key hub for global investors, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. MBRAH’s strategic location, world-class facilities, and connectivity continue to attract leading private aviation companies and clients from around the globe.

H.E. Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, credited the success to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and reaffirmed MBRAH’s role in Dubai’s wider ambition to become a top global aviation and investment hub.

“We remain committed to delivering infrastructure and services that solidify our position as a gateway for business aviation,” said Al Zaffin. “This momentum reflects global confidence in Dubai’s aviation sector and its readiness to meet future demand.”

MBRAH, located in the free-zone development of Dubai South, offers integrated aviation solutions including maintenance centres, training institutes, and facilities for aerospace manufacturers and private jet operators. It is designed to serve as a complete ecosystem for the global aerospace industry, further strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a forward-looking aviation capital.

Dubai South sees 15% rise in business jet traffic in first half of 2025, setting the pace for sustained growth in the sector as the emirate continues to expand its leadership in private aviation.
