Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has approved 2,971 Emirati housing grants and loans totalling AED2 billion to enhance living conditions.
Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has approved new housing support for 2,971 Emirati citizens, valued at over AED2 billion. The initiative reflects the country’s continued commitment to improving family stability and community welfare.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, housing remains a national priority. He emphasised that secure and high-quality housing is essential to social cohesion and national development.
The Zayed Housing Programme confirmed the approvals were issued between January and the end of Q3 2025. These included 522 grants worth AED355 million under presidential directives, 595 government housing loans totalling AED246.2 million, 24 grants or benefits worth AED19 million, and 1,830 housing finance approvals valued at AED1.449 billion.
Sheikh Mohammed stated that continuous development of the housing sector is vital to ensuring that all citizens benefit from modern, efficient housing solutions. Since July 2022, the Zayed Housing Programme has issued 11,298 approvals, with a combined value approaching AED9 billion. This highlights the UAE’s long-term strategy for ensuring dignified living standards for its people.
