The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 will offer free shuttle and marine transport from key locations in Dubai, Ajman, and Sharjah to Expo Centre Sharjah.
SHARJAH: The Sharjah Book Authority has unveiled an expanded transport network for the 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025), running from November 5–16 at Expo Centre Sharjah. To support the growing number of visitors, the authority is offering free shuttle buses and marine transport options from Dubai, Ajman, and across Sharjah.
Two free shuttle buses will operate from Al Rashidiya Bus Station in Dubai and City Centre Ajman, departing at 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 5:00 pm. Return trips from Expo Centre Sharjah are scheduled at 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 9:00 pm, running daily throughout the fair.
A major highlight is the introduction of free marine transport from Sharjah Aquarium and Al Qasba directly to the Expo Centre. This service connects with Dubai’s FR5 route, linking Al Ghubaiba Marine Station to Sharjah Aquarium. The traditional boat rides will be available during SIBF opening hours, providing a scenic and smooth commute.
Weekday ferry schedules from Sharjah Aquarium to Dubai include early morning and late afternoon trips, with different timings on Fridays and weekends to suit visitor needs. Buses and boats will be coordinated to ensure seamless transfers and a comfortable travel experience.
Badr Mohammed Saab, Director of Government Communications at SBA, thanked authorities in Dubai and Sharjah for their cooperation and highlighted how improved transport access enhances cultural engagement.
SIBF remains one of the region’s top literary and cultural events, and this year’s expanded transport access aims to welcome even more families, students, and book lovers from across the UAE.
