Sharjah’s Tanweer Festival returns this November, featuring global artists and immersive cultural experiences in the Mleiha Desert under the theme “What you seek is seeking you.”
SHARJAH: The Tanweer Festival is set to make a grand return to the Mleiha Desert from 21st to 23rd November 2025, offering a unique fusion of global art, music, and cultural exploration under the open skies of Sharjah. This year’s edition promises an even more vibrant celebration, transforming the serene desert landscape into a creative hub of expression and unity.
After a successful debut, the festival will welcome international talents, headlined by world-renowned Tunisian artist Amel Mathlouthi, who will close the event with a captivating performance. Other major artists from across the globe are expected to join, with names to be revealed soon, adding to the anticipation surrounding the festival.
With the guiding theme “What you seek is seeking you,” inspired by the mystical poetry of Jalal ad-Din Rumi, the event aims to spark deep personal and communal reflection. Visitors can look forward to an enriching programme featuring starlit musical performances, cultural workshops, interactive installations, and storytelling sessions rooted in regional traditions.
The Tanweer Festival champions values of sustainability, knowledge sharing, and cultural dialogue. It also invites attendees to reconnect with nature, creativity, and each other in an inclusive desert setting that encourages mindfulness and community engagement.
Designed as more than just a music festival, Tanweer serves as a platform for transformative experiences, blending contemporary artistic expression with Sharjah’s commitment to preserving heritage and fostering intercultural understanding.
