DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, praised the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He said that under Sheikh Mohamed’s guidance, the UAE is committed to excelling in UAE economic sectors and different sectors and helping create a better future for everyone.

Sheikh Mohammed talked about the UAE’s efforts to build strong global partnerships. These partnerships aim to tackle challenges and make progress in sustainability, innovation, and advanced infrastructure.

He made these remarks during his weekly Majlis, where he met with local dignitaries, business leaders, investors, ministers, and senior officials.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the country’s significant achievements in key areas. He noted the private sector’s important role in driving economic growth, which aligns with the UAE’s strategy to diversify income sources and enhance investment opportunities, especially in future-focused sectors.

Dubai is strengthening its position as a global trading hub, a centre for the creative and digital economy, and a base for multinational companies. Sheikh Mohammed said that Dubai aims to become a leading destination for tourism, business, and investment.

Dubai is working hard to maintain its leading global and regional position. This effort supports the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, to make Dubai one of the world’s top three urban economies and enhance its economic and trade competitiveness.

Sheikh Mohammed pointed out that Dubai’s success highlights the strength of its partnerships and the cooperation between the public and private sectors. Innovation and advanced technology are key to Dubai’s bright future. He affirmed the commitment to creating a supportive environment for startups in innovation and advanced technologies, with modern laws and regulations to facilitate business and strengthen Dubai’s global position as a hub for innovation.

The meeting was attended by key figures, including H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, along with other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and the attendees listened to a lecture by Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Cybersecurity Council. The lecture focused on the importance of cybersecurity in protecting the UAE’s digital transformation, achievements, and national security.
